Merging architecture and theology into environments that uplift and encourage worship, foster fellowship, and enhance our Christian community is a particular calling and challenge RMS Architecture has pursued. Worship environments from 200 seats to 2,000 seats present challenges beyond the spatial and financial. Higher questions of purpose should be asked, such as “does the church’s facility accurately reflect the church’s preaching?” and “What does the building say of itself and of Christ whom we serve?”

RMS Architecture approaches church projects from a Reformed perspective with respect to denominational distinctives and cultures. Preeminence of the pulpit, symbols of the sacraments, community of Believers, calling to service and the celebration of worship are woven into a cohesive entity and statement.

Church architecture provides great potential for craft and art, whether it be works in glass or custom-designed pulpit furniture.
